Who can Review Time Adjustment Requests?
To be able to review the time adjustment requests, the staff member will need to have “full” access to the Time Clock page in iClassPro as well as a minimum of “view” permissions for the Time Clock task to see the activity. To approve or deny requests, that permission will need to be set to “full”.

Reviewing Time Adjustment Requests
To review time adjustment requests submitted from the Punch Pad or Kiosk Mode, the staff member will go to the Time Clock page, then click on Adjustments on the left-hand side. This will list all requests for adjustment from most recent to oldest request.
At the top of the page, you will notice that the view defaults to pending requests. Staff members can view past requests by employees which have already been approved or denied from the “Processed” view.
Pending View Instructions
Other options at the top of this section allow you to change the number of requests visible on the page (default of 20) and navigate through multiple pages of requests. The options to search staff by name and to view requests by location can help staff with finding specific requests.
PRO TIP! The Approve All/Deny All buttons at the top of the page are there to reduce clicks for staff. These actions impact all adjustment requests across all pages and there is not an easy undo option for these actions. For this reason, these options will pop up a confirmation window before any action is taken. Comments are not available when using the mass approve/deny options.
Adjustment Types
There are three types of adjustments, which correlate to the reason that the employee provides when submitting the Time Adjustment Requests.
- Original Clock In - this type of request is created when the employee answers that they forgot to clock in.
- Current Clock In - this type of request is created when the employee answers that they clocked in, but need to adjust their clock in time.
- New Entry - a new entry happens when the employee chooses to create a new entry for a specific date and time OR if a one punch employee needs to fill in a gap in their scheduled day with unscheduled activity.
Quick Approval/Denial without Comment
Each request will show details including the employee’s photo (if uploaded), their name, the adjustment reason and a description of the requested changes. Hovering over the message icon will show any comments included by that employee with the request. To quickly approve or deny the single request without a comment, individual approve/deny buttons can be found next to each listing.
To avoid accidents, after clicking the approve or deny button the system will prompt you with a confirmation window.
Click Yes to continue or No Thanks! to cancel.
Approval/Denial with Comment
The magnifying glass will open the request in more detail and allow the staff member approving or denying the request to also provide a comment to the employee explaining the decision. Enter a comment and click approve or deny from this window to process the request.
