IN BRIEF
Waitlisted Only Students are individuals who are currently on one or more class waitlists but do not have any active enrollments in your program. This Pro Insights metric helps administrators understand unmet demand, evaluate class capacity, and identify opportunities to add classes or increase enrollment limits.
Overview
The Waitlisted Only Students metric in Pro Insights identifies students who have expressed interest in enrolling but are not currently participating in any classes. These students are waiting for an available spot and represent potential future enrollments.
This data point is designed to support capacity planning and decision-making by highlighting where demand exceeds current availability.
Deleting source data will affect the accuracy of results.
What This Means
- These students have expressed interest in joining a class and are waiting for an open spot.

Troubleshooting & FAQs
-
Why is a student showing as waitlisted only even though they are enrolled in the past?
- The metric only considers current enrollments. If a student does not have an active ACTIVE or SINGLE DAY enrollment at the time the data is generated, they may appear as waitlisted only, even if they were enrolled previously.
-
Are students with TRIAL or MAKEUP enrollments included?
- No. Only ACTIVE and SINGLE DAY enrollments exclude a student from being counted as waitlisted only.
-
Why did my waitlisted-only numbers change unexpectedly?
- Changes to enrollment status, waitlists, or deleted source data can affect results. Removing or modifying historical data may reduce accuracy.
-
Can I use this data to predict future enrollment growth?
- Yes. While it is not a guarantee, waitlisted-only students indicate strong interest and can help forecast where growth or additional capacity may be needed.
