What is the Enterprise Portal Dashboard?

IN BRIEF
The Enterprise Portal Dashboard provides a customizable view of widgets that display key metrics across one or more Enterprise Portal accounts. Enterprise users can filter dashboard data by account, choose which widgets appear, and customize the layout on a per-user basis.

The features described in this article are only available to customers subscribed to iClassPro's Enterprise Plan. For more details or to request additional information about our Enterprise Plan, please reach out to our Sales team at sales@iclasspro.com.

Overview

The Enterprise Portal Dashboard helps Enterprise Plan customers review important account-level metrics from a centralized dashboard. Users can add, remove, resize, and move widgets to create a view that highlights the information most relevant to their role.

The Filter By Account option allows users to display widget data for one or more accounts. When users select multiple accounts, the Dashboard displays cumulative totals that include data from all selected accounts.

Important Note: At this time, only staff members created as users under the Enterprise Portal parent group can access the Dashboard. Staff members created as users in a subgroup of the parent group cannot access the Dashboard, even if their profile uses the "Admin" level.

Embedded Power BI Reports

Troubleshooting & FAQs

  • Why can a staff member not access the Enterprise Portal Dashboard?
    • The staff member must exist as a user under the Enterprise Portal parent group. Staff members created as users in a subgroup of the parent group cannot access the Dashboard, even if their profile uses the "Admin" level.
  • Why do the totals for Today not match real-time activity?
    • Widget totals for Today are not real-time. The Dashboard uses the latest data available from the Data Warehouse.
  • What happens when multiple accounts are selected in Filter By Account?
    • The Dashboard displays cumulative totals that include data from all selected accounts.
  • Why didn’t my Dashboard changes disappear?
    • Changes must be saved before leaving the Dashboard. After making updates, select the green checkbox icon in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
  • Why does the Dashboard open to a Power BI report instead of the Enterprise Portal Dashboard?
    • If the user has access to a Power BI report, the Dashboard defaults to the Power BI report. Select Enterprise Portal at the top of the page to switch views.
