How Do I Download/Use the iClassPro Kiosk App?

What is the iClassPro Kiosk App?

The iClassPro Kiosk app gives you quick access to Time Clock, Parent and Student Check-In, and the Staff Portal at your children’s activity center. The iClassPro Kiosk app prevents you from having to display an open-access internet browser by automatically launching the chosen kiosk upon login.

Installing the iClassPro Kiosk App

The iClassPro Kiosk App is only available for the iPad. As a general rule, we can only guarantee support for the current version and two previous versions of iOS to access and run the various apps and Kiosks. (For example, if the current version is 17, we will support versions 15, 16, and 17.)

Using the iClassPro Kiosk App

Upon launching the iClassPro Kiosk App, you will be presented with a screen asking you to enter your account name. This unique identifier is the last part of the URL to your iClassPro Office Portal (https://app.iclasspro.com/a/accountname). Enter the account name in the box and click the arrow to continue:

On the main menu screen, you are provided with three options:

  1. Timeclock - iClassPro Kiosk makes it easy to record employees’ time from an iPad kiosk. With kiosk mode, employees can quickly get clocked in without logging into iClassPro. They’re assigned a unique PIN number for easy access so they can get on the clock and get to work.
  2. Check-In - iClassPro Kiosk is the fastest and most streamlined way for your customers to check into classes. Your parents and students will be able to use the family phone number or an assigned QR Codes to check-in. (Please see our article “Using Guided Access with iClassPro Kiosk” for additional information.)
  3. Staff Portal - Your staff is also able to access the entire Staff Portal from an iPad with iClassPro Kiosk. This allows your office and coaching staff to easily work on the move and puts the Staff Portal at their fingertips.

By default, you will be unable to switch to a different Kiosk after launching a specific option unless you forcefully close the App and relaunch it.  However, this behavior can be changed by enabling the "Show Home Button in Kiosks" option in the app settings on your iPad (SETTINGS>ICP KIOSK). If this option is enabled, a "Home" icon will be displayed, which can be clicked to return to the main Kiosk selection menu. 

Timeclock and Check In Kiosks

Clicking “Timeclock” or “Check In” will prompt you to log into the iClassPro Office Portal. (You will need to be sure to log in as a staff member who has the required permissions to access the selected Kiosk view.)

NOTE: If the "Stay Logged In" option is selected, the staff member will not be required to log in again unless they explicitly use the option to "Log Out" from within the Office Portal. We do not recommend enabling this option on shared devices unless you are using a dedicated staff account to log in.

Upon a successful login, the system will automatically launch the chosen Kiosk mode:

To exit the Kiosk mode, click the “Home” button in the bottom right-hand corner to return to the main menu.

TIP: Due to limitations with iPadOS, the full virtual keyboard will be displayed on the screen by default if you are using the Time Clock Kiosk on an iPad. However, if you "pinch" the keyboard, it will revert from a full keyboard to a numeric-only keyboard. This keyboard layout will remain in place until the application is closed or the keyboard is changed.

Check-In Kiosk:

Staff Portal Kiosk

Clicking “Staff Portal” will launch the Staff Portal Login screen:

NOTE: If the "Save Login" option is selected, the staff member will not be required to log in again unless they explicitly use the option to "Log Out" from within the Staff Portal. For security reasons, we do not recommend enabling this option on shared devices.

To log out of the Staff Portal and return to the Login screen, choose “Log Out” in the user panel in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.

To completely exit the Staff Portal Kiosk mode and return to the main menu, click the “Home” button in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen.
