Overview
The iClassPro Kiosk App allows your facility to use an iPad as a dedicated station for:
- Staff members clocking in and out.
- Parents and students checking into classes.
- Staff accessing the Staff Portal on the go.
Using the app eliminates the need to open a browser, improving security and ease of use.
Installing the iClassPro Kiosk App
- The app is available only for iPad.
- iClassPro supports the current iOS version and the two previous versions.
- For example, if the current version is iOS 26, versions 17, 18, and 26 are supported. (NOTE: Beginning in 2025, Apple moved to a year-based versioning scheme, meaning that they went straight from version 18 to 26. Versions 19-25 do not exist.)
- The iClassPro Kiosk App can be downloaded from the App Store at: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/iclasspro-kiosk/id1473040811
Using the iClassPro Kiosk App
- Launch the iClassPro Kiosk App on your iPad.
- Enter your account name. This unique identifier is the last part of the URL to your iClassPro Office Portal.
- For example: https://app.iclasspro.com/a/[account_name].
- Select the arrow to continue.
Once logged in, the main menu displays three options:
- Timeclock – Record employee hours quickly using assigned PINs.
- Check In – Allow parents and students to check into classes using a family phone number or QR code.
- Staff Portal – Provide staff with mobile access to the Staff Portal for schedules, attendance, and more.
NOTE: By default, you cannot switch kiosks without force-closing the app. To enable a Home button for returning to the kiosk menu, open iPad Settings > ICP Kiosk and turn on “Show Home Button in Kiosks.”
Timeclock and Check In Kiosks
When you select Timeclock or Check In, you will be prompted to log in to the iClassPro Office Portal using a staff account with appropriate permissions.
Important:
- If the “Stay Logged In” option is selected, the system will retain the session until the staff member logs out.
- Avoid enabling this on shared iPads unless using a dedicated staff account.
Upon successful login, the app launches the selected kiosk.
Timeclock Kiosk
- Employees enter their assigned PIN to clock in/out.
- To exit, select the Home button (bottom right corner).
NOTE: Due to limitations with iPadOS, the full virtual keyboard will be displayed on the screen by default if you are using the Time Clock on an iPad. However, if you "pinch" the keyboard, it will revert from a full keyboard to a numeric-only keyboard. This keyboard layout will remain in place until the application is closed or the keyboard is changed.
Check-In Kiosk
- Families check in using their phone number or QR code.
- See "How Does the Check-In Kiosk Work?" and "How Do QR Codes Work with the Check-In Kiosk?" for more information.
- To exit, select the Home button (bottom right corner).
TIP: Due to limitations with iPadOS, the full virtual keyboard will be displayed on the screen by default if you are using the Check-In Kiosk on an iPad. However, if you "pinch" the keyboard, it will revert from a full keyboard to a numeric-only keyboard. This keyboard layout will remain in place until the application is closed or the keyboard is changed.
Staff Portal Kiosk
Selecting Staff Portal launches the Staff Portal login screen.
- Staff log in with their username and password.
- The “Save Login” option allows users to stay signed in until they manually log out.
- For security reasons, do not enable this on shared devices.
- To log out, select Log Out from the user panel in the top-right corner.
- To completely exit the Staff Portal Kiosk mode and return to the main menu, select the Home button in the lower-right corner.
See "What is the Staff Portal Mobile Interface?" for details about logging into the Staff Portal and performing tasks.
