IN BRIEF
The Unexcused/Excused Absence Report (CAM-5) provides a list of camp absences marked as excused or unexcused within a selected date range. This report helps administrators review attendance patterns, identify missed sessions, and review any associated absence comments.
Overview
The Unexcused/Excused Absence Report (CAM-5) is used to track and review camp absences within a defined date range. The report includes:
- Student names
- Camp name
- Date of absence
- Camp schedule (day and time)
- Comments recorded with the absence
This report can be filtered to include only excused or unexcused absences and can be narrowed further using program, instructor, level, and other criteria.

- Camp enrollments are considered ACTIVE from the first scheduled block through the last, even if gaps exist between selected dates

Troubleshooting & FAQs
-
Why are no results appearing in my report?
- Verify that your date range includes attendance records and that your filters (such as program, instructor, or level) are not too restrictive.
-
Why is an instructor missing from the report?
- The instructor must be associated with the enrollment during the selected date range. If they were added after the end date, they will not appear.
-
Why is a deleted instructor still showing in results?
- If the instructor was active during part of the selected date range, their data will still be included for those dates.
-
How does the system determine ACTIVE camp enrollment dates?
- Camp enrollments are considered ACTIVE from the first selected block through the last, even if the student was not scheduled on every day in that range.
-
What happens if I do not select any camps in the filter?
- The report will include all camps that match your other selected criteria.
