The Dashboard in iClassPro is a customizable interface that allows staff to organize widgets into a layout that best suits their needs. It offers access to a wider variety of widget types than the Welcome Page, including performance indicators, lists, program summaries, and visual charts.
Overview
Unlike the fixed layout of the Welcome Page, the Dashboard provides flexibility for staff to customize their workspace. It includes the following categories of widgets:
- KPI Widgets – Key Performance Indicators that compare data across time periods.
- List Widgets – Display lists and counts of recent activities such as enrollments, payments, or skill evaluations.
- Status Widgets – Show real-time or weekly activity, such as current clock-ins or pending adjustments.
- Program Widgets – Summarize enrollments by program, including graphical breakdowns.
- Bar/Line Chart Widgets – Provide graphical comparisons of charges, credits, or payments across multiple years.
Permissions note
Most widgets only require staff access to the Dashboard to view data. Widgets that require more specific permissions will list these requirements in their descriptions.
Accessing the Feature
- Log into the Office Portal.
- Depending on how your staff profile is configured, the Dashboard Page will either load automatically, or you may be directed to the Welcome page.
- If you are directed to the "Welcome" page, click on the "Dashboard" heading to switch views.
- Review the displayed widgets.
- Every staff member can customize their own Dashboard view from "Edit" mode.
- To enter "Edit" mode, click the pencil/edit icon at the top right-hand side of the screen.
- Note that based on staff permissions, some widgets may not be available for your user.
- After making any customizations to the view, be sure to SAVE your changes.
NOTE: you can always return to your main landing page from anywhere in the Office Portal by clicking on the "iClassPro" logo in the upper left-hand corner of the page.
Step-by-Step Instructions
From the Office Portal's "Dashboard" view:
- Review the categories of widgets available to your role.
- Use widgets to:
- Monitor business metrics at a glance.
- Open dialogs for additional details (if supported).
- Navigate to other pages with pre-applied filters.
- Customize the layout (if permitted) by rearranging, adding, and/or removing widgets.
Additional Options
- Admin users may have access to extra widgets (such as financial data and charts) that are not available to all staff roles.
- Widget permissions can be managed through staff permissions in the Office Portal.

Why don’t I see the same widgets as another staff member?
- Widget availability depends on your assigned staff permissions. Some widgets are restricted to specific user groups (such as administrators).
