The Welcome Page in iClassPro provides a fixed set of widgets designed to give staff immediate access to essential tools and information. Some of these widgets are permanent and cannot be removed, while others can be swapped out if needed.
Overview
The Welcome Page serves as a starting point for staff, offering quick visibility into key business activity and access to support resources. It contains:
- Permanent widgets that cannot be removed.
- News widgets for announcements and updates.
- Optional swappable widgets for flexibility.
Permanent Widgets
- Online Activity – Shows activity from the Customer Portal that can be reviewed and managed.
- Knowledgebase and Education Corner – Provides links to iClassPro Help articles and training materials.
- Support – Displays iClassPro support contact details and office hours.
News Widgets
- iClassPro News – General company updates.
- iClassPro Announcements – Highlights important product or system announcements.
- Customer Portal News – Displays news items posted to the Customer Portal via the News & Announcements tool.
NOTE: Widgets that can be swapped out are marked with a "swap" icon when the Welcome Page is in edit mode.
Accessing the Feature
- Log into the Office Portal.
- Depending on how your staff profile is configured, the Welcome Page will either load automatically, or you may be directed to the Dashboard.
- If you are directed to the Dashboard, click on the "Welcome" heading to switch views.
- Review the displayed widgets:
- Permanent widgets appear by default.
- News widgets update dynamically with new content.
- Swappable widgets can be modified when the Welcome page is in edit mode.
- To enter "Edit" mode, click the pencil/edit icon at the top right-hand side of the screen.

Step-by-Step Instructions
From the Welcome Page, review the widgets displayed.
- Online Activity: Expand the widget to view/manage portal activity items.
- Knowledgebase and Education Corner: Select links to access help articles or training resources.
- Support: Reference contact details and support hours as needed.
- News Widgets: Select items for details on announcements or updates.
- To customize swappable widgets:
- Enter edit mode on the Welcome Page.
- Use the "swap" icon to replace eligible widgets.
Additional Options
- News widgets may display either information posted internally by iClassPro or information posted externally via the Customer Portal.
- Swapping widgets allows staff to personalize the Welcome Page, but core system widgets remain locked.
