What is the Customer Class List Report (CLA-2)?

The Customer Class List Report (CLA-2) generates a customer-facing list of active classes in your database. The report includes class details such as Program, Class Name, Schedule, Class Requirements, openings, and base price so customers can review available class options.

The Customer Class List Report (CLA-2) creates a list of active classes that can be shared with customers. This report helps staff provide class information outside of the Customer Portal/Mobile App, such as when printing class options, sending class lists, or reviewing available openings with families.

Key Report Details

The report includes the following class details:

  • Program
  • Class Name
  • Schedule, including day and time
  • Class Requirements, including gender and age range
  • Number of openings
  • Base price

If you commonly use the same filters when running this report, you can save them as Presets. Load a Preset Filter when you open the report page, set your date range, and generate the report in the preferred format.

  1. From the main navigation menu, go to Reports.
  2. Locate the Customer Class List Report (CLA-2).
  3. Select the report title to open the report filters.

Step-by-Step Instructions

General Filters

  • Locations: Use Locations to limit results to classes connected with the selected Location or Locations.
  • Day Of Week: Use Day Of Week to limit results to classes that meet on the selected day or days of the week.
  • Choose Program: Use Choose Program to limit results to classes associated with the selected Program or Programs.
    • Leaving this filter blank includes all classes that meet the other selected criteria.
  • Choose Session: Use Choose Session to limit results to classes associated with the selected Session or Sessions.
    • Leaving this filter blank includes all classes that meet the other selected criteria.
    • The Choose Session filter only displays current and future sessions by default.
    • Enable Show Past to display past Sessions or Rolling Sessions, if needed.
  • Choose Level: Use Choose Level to limit results to classes associated with the selected Class Level or Class Levels.
    • Leaving this filter blank includes all classes that meet the other selected criteria.
  • Choose Instructor: Use Choose Instructor to limit results to classes associated with the selected Instructor or Instructors.
    • Leaving this filter blank includes all classes that meet the other selected criteria.
  • Choose Room: Use Choose Room to limit results to classes associated with the selected Room or Rooms.
    • Leaving this filter blank includes all classes that meet the other selected criteria.
  • Choose Class Keywords: Use Choose Class Keywords to limit results to classes associated with the selected Class Keyword or Class Keywords.
    • Leaving this filter blank includes all classes that meet the other selected criteria.
  • Choose Class: Use Choose Class to limit results to the selected Class or Classes.
    • Leaving this filter blank includes all classes that meet the other selected criteria.

Instructor Filter Notes

The Choose Instructor filter depends on whether the selected instructor or staff member was associated with the matching class or enrollment details during the applicable date or date range.

  • Entries will not appear on the final report for any selected instructor or staff member who was not associated with the specified enrollments, events, or related records during the designated date or date range.
  • If an instructor was deleted after the start date of the report, the results will include relevant entries for the instructor on the date or dates before they were deleted.
  • If an instructor was created or attached to an event after the end date of the report, the instructor will not appear in the results.

Display Options

  • Age: Enter a specific age to limit the report to classes that allow enrollments for students of that age.
  • Only Display Classes With Openings: Enable this option to limit the report to classes with openings available.
  • Include Future Enrollments: Enable this option to consider any enrollment with a future drop date when calculating openings, regardless of the enrollment start date.
  • Show Level: Enable this option to add a column showing the Class Level.

  • Landscape: Enable this option to generate the report in Landscape format instead of Portait.

Generating the Report

  • Select your desired export format (such as HTML, PDF, XLS, or CSV) at the bottom of the report.
  • The System will immediately generate the report in the selected format.

Troubleshooting & FAQs

  • Why are some classes missing from the report?
    • Review the selected filters. Filters such as Locations, Day Of Week, Choose Program, Choose Session, Choose Level, Choose Instructor, Choose Room, Choose Class Keywords, and Choose Class can all limit which classes appear.
  • Why do past sessions not appear in the Session filter?
    • The Choose Session filter only displays current and future sessions by default. Enable Show Past to display past Sessions or Rolling Sessions.
  • Why does a selected instructor not appear in the report results?
    • The instructor must be associated with matching class or enrollment details during the applicable date or date range. If the instructor was not associated with the matching records, the report will not include entries for that instructor.
  • How do I show only classes with available openings?
    • Enable Only Display Classes With Openings before generating the report.
  • How does the report calculate openings when future enrollments exist?
    • Enable Include Future Enrollments to have the System consider enrollments with future drop dates when calculating openings, regardless of the enrollment start date.
