How Can I Disable Specific Party Time Slots?

Specific party time slots can be temporarily disabled directly from the PARTIES page using the Quick Edit tool. This is commonly used for holidays, staff closures, training days, or other short-term scheduling conflicts. Disabled time slots are unavailable for new bookings in both the Customer Portal and the Office Portal.

Overview

Disabling party time slots prevents selected party availability from being booked without deleting the time slots entirely. This allows administrators to temporarily control availability while preserving existing party setup and configuration.

This feature is useful when:

  • The business is closed for a holiday.
  • Staff are unavailable for a specific date or time range.
  • Party bookings need to be paused temporarily without restructuring schedules.

  3. Update the view quantity so all applicable party time slots appear on a single page.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Disabling Party Time Slots

  1. Navigate to the PARTIES page.
  2. Adjust your filters and change the view quantity to display all relevant parties on a single page.
  3. Enable the boxes to the left of the time slots you wish to disable.
  4. Select the Quick Edit icon (pencil) at the bottom of the page.
  5. In the popup window, select Disable.

Once disabled, these time slots will no longer be available for new bookings.

Re-enabling Disabled Time Slots

  1. Navigate to the PARTIES page.
  2. Adjust your filters and change the view quantity to display all relevant parties on a single page.
  3. Enable the boxes to the left of the time slots you wish to re-enable.
  4. Select the Quick Edit icon (pencil) at the bottom of the page.
  5. In the popup window, select Enable.

Once re-enabled, these time slots will once again be available for new bookings.

Troubleshooting & FAQs

  • Will disabling a party time slot cancel existing bookings?
    • No. Disabling a time slot only prevents new bookings. Existing party bookings remain unchanged.
  • Can I disable multiple party time slots at once?
    • Yes. Multiple time slots can be selected and disabled at the same time using the Quick Edit tool.
  • Is disabling party time slots permanent?
    • No. Disabled time slots can be re-enabled at any time using the same process.
