Overview
A Skill Tree is a visual representation of your curriculum in iClassPro. It is organized in a hierarchical structure, with each layer building on the one below it. This structure allows you to customize skill progression based on your program’s needs.
The Skill Tree hierarchy follows this order:
- Disciplines contain Levels.
- Levels may contain Events (optional).
- Events contain individual Skills.
As students progress:
- Individual Skills are evaluated and passed until an Event is completed.
- Individual Events are completed to finish a Level.
- Individual Levels are completed to master a Discipline.
Events are an optional layer within your Skill Tree. They are often used to represent specific locations or activity areas within your facility.
For example:
- In Gymnastics, Events might include:
- Bars
- Beam
- Floor
- Vault
- In Swimming, Events might include:
- Dog Paddle
- Breast Stroke
- 50m Race
If your industry does not use Events, simply deselect that when creating a Level.
