How Do I Submit a Feature Request?

Submitting a feature request allows customers to communicate desired enhancements directly to iClassPro’s development team. The feature request system also enables users to search for existing requests, review details, and add feedback to help prioritize future updates.

Overview

The feature request system allows customers to suggest new ideas, improvements, or enhancements for iClassPro. Customers can also review requests submitted by others and upvote those that align with their needs. Upvoting helps the development team identify which ideas have the highest impact across the user base.

Accessing the Feature

  1. Log into your iClassPro account.
  2. Open the profile picture menu in the top right corner of the screen.
  3. Select Feature Requests from the menu to automatically log into the feedback page.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. After being redirected to the feedback site, click on the Feature Requests button at the top of the page.

  2. Use the search box at the top of the right-hand column to see if the feature you would like to suggest has already been requested.

  3. If you find an existing request that matches what you want, you can voice your agreement by clicking the up arrow next to that feature request.

  4. Click on the title of the existing request to view more details, user comments, etc.
  5. If you did not find a request that matches what you are looking for, create a new request using the options on the left side of the screen:

Best Practices for Submitting a Feature Request

  • Search carefully before submitting to avoid duplication.
  • Make titles specific and clear.
  • Add meaningful detail to help the development team understand your use case.
  • Upvote related requests in addition to creating a unique one when appropriate.

Important Note: Whenever possible, always upvote an existing feature request instead of creating a new one. The development team prioritizes requests with the highest number of votes when planning future enhancements.

Troubleshooting & FAQs

  • My idea already exists, but it is not exactly what I need. Should I create a new request?
    • It is recommended that you upvote the existing request for the area(s) of your request that it covers and then create a new entry for any request(s) not fulfilled by it. This consolidates feedback for the partial request and increases visibility for the remaining request(s).
  • I submitted a request. How can I track its status?
    • Select the request title at any time to review its current status and any updates from other users or the development team.
