Learn how Levels, how they care created, and how they are used in iClassPro to generate reports and control transfer requests via the Customer Portal.
What are Levels?
Levels are assigned to classes and/or camps to designate a specific skill aptitude expected to be attained by students enrolled in the event. These Levels are used to identify sections of classes and camps on the Level Summary Report and can also be used as filters on other reports.
Where do I create/configure Levels?
Levels can be created and/or edited under SETTINGS>SETUP>GENERAL SETTINGS>LEVELS.
When configuring levels, the following information can be assigned:
- Name (required) - defines the name to be selected in the Class/Camp Details and used on the Level Summary Report.
- Color - defines the color to be used to identify Classes or Camps assigned to that specific level in the Calendar view. This can be selected from a color picker or can be manually entered as a Hex value.
-
Image - defines an image to be displayed to identify Classes assigned to that specific Level in the Customer Portal. The recommended size for the Level image should be a ratio of 2:1, or twice as wide as it is tall. Therefore, 400px X 200px, 600px X 300px, and 1600px X 800px would all be acceptable sizes.
-
NOTES:
- The Level image will ONLY be used to identify Classes on the Customer Portal. Camps will use the Camp Type image instead.
- It should be remembered that the larger the image, the longer it will take to download. Smaller images are highly recommended for the best user experience.

NOTES:
How does Level ordering work?
The Actions column allows you to place levels in order by moving them up or down within the Level list. If the option to "Allow Transfer into the Next Level" is enabled under SETTINGS>CUSTOMER PORTAL>OTHER SETTINGS>CLASS REGISTRATION, the system will use this ranking to determine what the “next” level would be based on which level is assigned to the student’s current class.
Note that currently there is no direct correlation between the Level and Skill Tree Level.
