Family Email List (FAM-3)

The Family Email List is a list of families in your database along with all email addresses associated with the family account.

NOTE: Chosen filters that relate to enrollments will produce results that are true as of the day you generate the report unless you choose a specific date range using the “Date Filters.”

Available filters are:

  • STATUS:
    • All – all families, regardless of enrollment status
    • Active – only families with an active enrollment
    • Inactive – only families who do not have an active enrollment
  • DATE FILTERS: allows you to specify a specific date range that will be applied to the STATUS filter. If you do not set anything here, the system will default to the current date. (Because families are only considered active/inactive based on enrollment within the chosen date range, this filter will not have any effect on the results if the STATUS filter is set to “All”.)
    • Active Before – will only look at accounts that were ACTIVE before the selected date.
    • Active After – will only look at accounts that were ACTIVE after the selected date.
    • Active During – will only look at accounts that were ACTIVE at some point during the selected date range.
    • Inactive Before – will only look at accounts that were completely INACTIVE before the selected date.
    • Inactive After – will only look at accounts that were completely INACTIVE after the selected date.
    • Inactive During – will only look at accounts that were completely INACTIVE throughout the selected date range.
  • PROGRAM: select a Program to limit the report to only families with an active enrollment in a class associated with that program. (Because families are only associated with a Program when an active enrollment is present, this filter will not have any effect on the results if the STATUS filter is set to “All” or “Inactive”.)
  • CLASS: select a Class to limit the report to only families with an active enrollment in the class. (Because families are only associated with a Class when an active enrollment is present, this filter will not have any effect on the results if the STATUS filter is set to “All” or “Inactive”.)
  • KEYWORD: select a Keyword to limit the report to only families who are associated with a particular Keyword.
    • Family Keywords – the family keyword must be assigned to the family
    • Student Keywords – the family must have at least one student with with the selected keyword assigned.
    • Class Keywords – the family must have a student with an active enrollment in a class with the selected keyword assigned.
    • Program Keywords – the family must have a student with an active enrollment in a class attached to a Program with the selected keyword assigned.
  • LOCATION OPTIONS: If there is more than one active location on the account, results will only reflect the currently selected location if using the “Active” status. (For example, if you select a status of “ACTIVE”, the family must be active in the selected location to be included in the results.)
    • Include All Locations – select this option to have the system consider enrollments in all active locations, not just the selected location.
  • EMAIL OPT-IN STATUS: this setting allows you to filter the list to show
    • BOTH: All family email addresses regardless of whether or not they have opted-in to receive Email Blasts
    • Only Emails that have opted OUT of receiving Email Blasts
    • Only Emails that have opted IN to receiving Email Blasts
  • NAME FORMAT: by default, the report shows the Guardian name in FIRSTNAME LASTNAME format. By enabling the option to “Print Guardian Name as Last, First” you can reverse this to LASTNAME, FIRSTNAME, making it easier to sort in Excel or another spreadsheet program.
