Editing, deleting, or resetting existing Makeup Tokens requires that the staff member have the appropriate staff permissions to do so.

Editing an Existing Makeup Token
- From the STUDENTS page, locate the student who needs to have a makeup token.
- Click the “Attendance” icon (checkmark) to the left of the student’s name to open the Attendance view.
- Click “Makeup Tokens.”
- Click the pencil/edit icon next to the existing Makeup Token to be edited.
- Edit the details of the token. (Be sure to select “Send Notification Email if you wish to send the parent an email with the updated details.)
- Click “Update Token” to save the changes.
Deleting an Existing Makeup Token
- From the STUDENTS page, locate the student who needs to have a makeup token.
- Click the “Attendance” icon (checkmark) to the left of the student’s name to open the Attendance view.
- Click “Makeup Tokens.”
- Click the trash can/delete icon next to the existing Makeup Token to be deleted.
- Alternatively, you can click the pencil/edit icon next to the existing Makeup Token to be deleted, then click the red DELETE button to delete the Makeup Token.
Resetting an Existing Makeup Token
In the case that you need to cancel a pending makeup enrollment and reset the associated Makeup Token status:
- From the STUDENTS page, locate the student for whom you wish to reset the Makeup Token.
- Click the “Attendance” icon (checkmark) to the left of the student’s name to open the Attendance view.
- Click on “Makeup Tokens.”
- Available makeup tokens will be shown.
- Expand the “Pending Tokens” area and click the “Reset Token” icon next to the enrollment. This will delete the pending makeup enrollment and reset the token to an “Unapplied” status. (Note that this will not change the expiration date of the original token.)
Automatically Expiring Makeup Tokens for Dropped Enrollments
The "Expire Makeup Tokens" Autopilot workflow can be used to trigger the system to update the expiration date on active Makeup Tokens if a student drops their enrollment and does not have another enrollment scheduled at the time the workflow is run.
