How Do I Duplicate an Event?

IN BRIEF
Duplicating an event allows administrators to quickly create one or more new events using existing event settings as a starting point. iClassPro provides two duplication methods—manual duplication and the Mass Copy tool—each designed for different use cases.

Overview

iClassPro offers two ways to duplicate events, depending on whether a single event or multiple events need to be copied:

  • Manual duplication
    • Best for creating one event at a time
    • Allows review and adjustment of individual event details
  • Mass Copy tool
    • Designed for duplicating multiple events at once
    • Allows consistent updates across all selected events

Duplicating events helps reduce setup time when creating similar seasonal or recurring event offerings.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Manually Duplicating an Event

Manual duplication creates one new event at a time and preserves most existing event data, reducing the need to recreate details.

  1. Create and save the original event.
  2. From the EVENTS page, select the pencil/edit icon for that event.
  3. At the bottom of the edit window, select Create a Duplicate.
  4. In the new event window, update details as needed:
    • Event name
    • Schedule
    • Instructors
    • Pricing and billing details
    • Any other event-specific settings
  5. Select Save to create the new event.

Both the original and duplicated event will now appear on the EVENTS page.
