IN BRIEF
Duplicating a camp allows administrators to quickly create one or more new camps using existing camp settings as a starting point. iClassPro provides two duplication methods—manual duplication and the Mass Copy tool—each designed for different use cases.
Overview
iClassPro offers two ways to duplicate camps, depending on whether a single camp or multiple camps need to be copied:
-
Manual duplication
- Best for creating one camp at a time
- Allows review and adjustment of individual camp details
-
Mass Copy tool
- Designed for duplicating multiple camps at once
- Allows consistent updates across all selected camps
Duplicating camps helps reduce setup time when creating similar seasonal or recurring camp offerings.
Important Considerations
- Review all duplicated camp details before making the camp available
- Update dates, pricing, instructors, and availability as needed
- Use the appropriate method based on how many camps need to be created
Accessing the Feature
Camp duplication is available directly from the CAMPS page:
- Manual duplication is accessed from within an individual camp record
- The Mass Copy tool is accessed after selecting one or more camps on the CAMPS page
Step-by-Step Instructions
Manually Duplicating a Camp
Manual duplication creates one new camp at a time and preserves most existing camp data, reducing the need to recreate details.
- Create and save the original camp.
- From the CAMPS page, select the pencil/edit icon for that camp.
- At the bottom of the edit window, select Create a Duplicate.
- In the new camp window, update details as needed:
- Camp name
- Schedule
- Instructors
- Pricing and billing details
- Any other camp-specific settings
- Select Save to create the new camp.
Both the original and duplicated camp will now appear on the CAMPS page.
