Does iClassPro have a spell check function?

While iClassPro itself does not have a built-in spell check function, it can use the spell check capabilities built into your Web browser to accomplish the task.  Follow the instructions below to enable and use spell check for your specific Web browser.

Google Chrome

1. Right-click inside of the text field.
2. Go to "Spellcheck" in the right-click menu and make sure "Check the spelling of text fields" is checked. Misspelled words will be shown with a red underline, similar to most word processing programs.
3. To view and select a correct spelling suggestion from the browser's dictionary, right-click the underlined word.

Choose the correct word from the list using a left click to make the change, or left click outside of the menu to exit.

Enable Spell Checker:


Choose Correct Spelling:

Mozilla Firefox 

1. Type about:preferences in the address bar and press [ENTER] on your keyboard.
2. Scroll to the Language and Appearance section.
3. Under "Language", check the option to "Check your spelling as you type."
4. As you type, misspelled words will be marked with a red underline, similar to most word processing programs. To view and select a correct spelling suggestion from the browser's dictionary, right-click the underlined word.
5. Choose the correct word from the list using a left click to make the change, or left click outside of the menu to exit.

Enable Spell Checker

Choose Correct Spelling:

Microsoft Edge Chromium

1. Right-click inside of the text field.
2. Go to "Check Spelling" in the right-click menu and make sure "Check spelling when entering text" is checked. Misspelled words will be shown with a red underline, similar to most word processing programs.
3. To view and select a correct spelling suggestion from the browser's dictionary, right-click the underlined word.
4. Choose the correct word from the list using a left click to make the change, or left click outside of the menu to exit.

Safari (on a computer)

1. Open Safari, then open the Edit menu from the top of the screen.
2. Hover your cursor over the "Spelling and Grammar" option.
3. Check to see that "Check Spelling While Typing" is enabled. If not, check the option to enable it.
4. Misspelled words will be shown with a red underline, similar to most word processing programs.
5. To view and select a correct spelling suggestion from the browser's dictionary, right-click the underlined word.
6. Choose the correct word from the list using a left click to make the change, or left click outside of the menu to exit.
