How Can I Share a Direct Link to a Class/Camp?

Staff members can generate a direct “Copy Link” URL that sends customers straight to a specific class or camp in the Customer Portal. This link respects all Customer Portal visibility and registration settings, ensuring customers only see or enroll in classes/camps for which they are eligible. 

Overview

The direct “Copy Link” option allows staff to quickly share a URL to a specific class/camp so customers can review class/camp details or begin an enrollment. The System only displays the option when certain criteria are met, and it enforces all Customer Portal visibility rules when customers access the link.

Accessing the Feature

The “Copy Link” option appears when the class/camp meets all requirements outlined below.

Requirements for the “Copy Link” option to appear

  • The class/camp is Active.
  • For customers to be able to enroll online, the option to “Allow Registration” must be enabled. 
  • The current date falls within the class/camp’s allowed date range
  • For Classes, Show classes and allow visitors to register for them must be enabled under SETTINGS>CUSTOMER PORTAL>OTHER SETTINGS>GENERAL SETTINGS.
  • For Camps, Show camps and allow visitors to register for them must be enabled under SETTINGS>CUSTOMER PORTAL>OTHER SETTINGS>GENERAL SETTINGS.
  • (Classes only) Punch Pass / “Single Day” Only is disabled.
  •  (Classes only) The class has an active Session or Rolling Session attached.

Reasons the “Copy Link” option will not be displayed

  • One or more requirements listed above are not met.
  • (Classes only) All attached Sessions or Rolling Sessions are in the past.
  • The class/camp end date is in the past.

Copying a Direct Link From the CLASSES/CAMPS Page (List View)

  1. Go to the CLASSES or CAMPS page.
  2. Hover over the class/camp name.
  3. Select Copy Link from the pop-up options.

  2. Locate the class or camp.
  3. Expand the Enrollments view
  4. Select Copy Link .

Copying a Direct Link From the CALENDAR Page

  2. Open the class or camp card.
  3. Select Copy Link in the upper right-hand corner.

After Copying the Link

  • The System automatically copies the link to the clipboard.
  • Staff can paste it into email, SMS, chat messages, or other communication channels.

Customer Experience

When customers follow a direct class link, all applicable Customer Portal rules are enforced.

  • If Show Class/Camp/Party/Appointment List If Not Logged In is disabled under SETTINGS>CUSTOMER PORTAL>OTHER SETTINGS>GENERAL SETTINGS, customers must log in before any information is displayed.
  • Global Priority Registration Mode and individual priority settings are always enforced.
  • Customers who do not meet priority requirements are prompted to log in so the System can determine eligibility.
  • If the customer is already logged in and meets all requirements, the class/camp listing opens directly so they can view details and begin enrollment.

  • What are some reasons why I may not see the “Copy Link” option?
    • The class/camp may not be Active.
    • Show to Customers may not be enabled.
    • Today’s date may fall outside the allowed date range.
    • (Classes only) Punch Pass / “Single Day” Only may be enabled.
    • (Classes only) The class may not have an active Session or Rolling Session attached, or all attached Sessions or Rolling Sessions may be in the past.
  • Customers report a “not found” message for the class or camp.
    • Confirm that customers are logged in (especially if visibility settings require login).
    • Verify that they meet any priority registration requirements.
