Which Filters Are Available for the CALENDAR Page?

Learn about the filtering options available from the CALENDAR page to help narrow your results when viewing enrollment details for classes, camps and/or parties.

After you have finished with a particular set of filters, be sure to click RESET FILTERS or press the ESC key on your keyboard to clear them.

Page Filters

"Page Filters" refers to the filters in the left-hand column of the Calendar page. These filters are used to limit the results displayed on the Calendar grid based on event type, day of the week or date, start times, or specific class/camp/party details.

  • Show Calendar Events
    • Classes - shows Classes on the Calendar grid
    • Camps - shows Camps on the Calendar grid
    • Parties - shows booked Parties on the Calendar grid
      • Available Party Timeslots - shows available Party Timeslots on the Calendar grid
  • Current Date - defines the current date for the Calendar view
  • Day of the week - only shows Classes/Camps/Parties that meet on the selected day(s) of the week.  If you do not select a specific day of the week, classes for all days will be shown.
    • If the “Weekly” view is selected, choosing one or more specific Days of the Week will restructure the Calendar to show only Classes/Camps/Parties for the next seven meeting periods. (For example, choosing only “Monday” will show details for the next seven Mondays, choosing Monday and Wednesday will show details for the next four Mondays/three Wednesdays, etc.)
  • Class Filters
    • Class Status
      • All - shows all classes, regardless of “Active”/“Inactive” status.
      • Active - shows only classes marked as “Active.”
      • Inactive - shows only classes marked as “Inactive.”
    • All Start Times - allows you to limit results to only show classes that start within a specific 1/2 hour time frame.  Times will only show if there is a class that meets the criteria (e.g., if your classes do not start until 4pm, you will not see any start time options prior to "4:00 pm - 4:29 pm").
    • All Programs - allows you to limit results only to classes with the selected program(s) attached.
    • All Sessions - allows you to limit results only to classes with the selected session(s)/rolling session(s) attached. Note that if you are selecting single or multiple entries from the “Sessions” filter, the system will display results based on the specified “Enrollment Date”, also considering any active enrollments within the Look Ahead window. If you change the selected session(s), be sure to update the “Enrollment Date” filter accordingly to ensure best accuracy. (For example, if you are looking at enrollments in a future session, be sure to update the “Enrollment Date” filter to match the start date of the session.)
    • All Levels - allows you to limit results only to classes with the selected class level(s) attached.
    • All Zones - allows you to limit results only to classes with the selected Zone(s) attached.
    • All Genders - allows you to limit results only to classes that allow students of the selected gender(s).
    • All Ages - allows you to limit results only to classes that allow students of the selected age(s).
    • All Instructors - allows you to limit results only to classes with the selected instructor(s) attached.
    • All Keywords - allows you to limit results only to classes with the selected Class keyword(s) attached.
  • Camp Filters
    • Camp Status
      • All - shows all camps, regardless of “Active”/“Inactive” status.
      • Active - shows only camps marked as “Active.”
      • Inactive - shows only camps marked as “Inactive.”
    • All Start Times - allows you to limit results to only show camps that start within a specific 1/2 hour time frame.  Times will only show if there is a camp that meets the criteria (e.g., if your camps do not start until 4pm, you will not see any start time options prior to "4:00 pm - 4:29 pm").
    • All Registration Periods - allows you to limit results to only show specific camps, based on the "Allowed Registration Dates" in Camp Details.
      • Future Registrations - only shows camps where the Allowed Registration Dates range is in the future, based on the current date.
      • Current Registrations - only shows camps where the Allowed Registration Dates range is ongoing, based on the current date.
    • All Instructors - allows you to limit results to only show camps attached to the selected Instructor(s).
    • All Camp Types - allows you to limit results to only show camps assigned to the selected Camp Type(s).
    • All Zones - allows you to limit results to only show camps assigned to the selected Zone(s).
  • Party Filters
    • All Start Times - allows you to limit results to only show party timeslots that start within a specific 1/2 hour time frame.  Times will only show if there is a party timeslots attached that meets the criteria (e.g., if your parties do not start until 10am, you will not see any start time options prior to "10:00 am - 10:29 am").
    • All Stations - only shows party timeslots attached to the selected party Station(s).
    • All Instructors - allows you to limit results to only show parties to which the selected Instructor(s) have been assigned as Party Host.

Calendar Filters

"Calendar Filters" refer to the filters at the top of the Calendar display. These filters are used to adjust the results displayed to display additional details or further limit the results by enrollment details (such as the number or type of openings).

  • Calendar Date/Date Range (based on Calendar range) - defines the current week/day based on the defined “Current Date.”
    • You can navigate forward/back by using the navigation buttons to the left of the Calendar Date/Date Range.
  • Calendar range (defaults to weekly)
    • Weekly - displays a grid with seven columns, each representing a day of the week.
      • Note that this view may change slightly if a specific “Day of the Week” has been selected.
    • Daily - displays a single column listing Classes/Camps/Parties occurring on the defined “Current Date.”
    • Staff - displays a grid for the defined “Current Date” listing each instructor, with their events for the day listed beneath in the order they occur
  • Create Class - switches to a grid view, allowing you to select a day/start time for a new class.  Once you click on the appropriate block on the grid view, the "New Class" screen will launch with the day of the week/start time already defined.  From here, you can complete the class details and save the new class.
    • NOTE: the system defaults to a one-hour duration for the class; you will need to update this if needed.
    • Click DONE to exit the grid view and return to the Calendar.
  • Create Camp - switches to a grid view, allowing you to select a day/start time for a new camp.  Once you click on the appropriate block on the grid view, the "New Camp" screen will launch with the day of the week/start time already defined.  From here, you can complete the camp details and save the new camp.
    • NOTE: the system defaults to a one-hour duration for the camp block; you will need to update this if needed.
    • Click DONE to exit the grid view and return to the Calendar.
  • Book Party - automatically filters the calendar to only show Parties, filtered to "Available Party Timeslots."
    • Click RESET FILTERS to return to the default calendar view.
  • Calendar View
    • Stacked - The “Stacked” view is only available from the weekly layout.  By ignoring the traditional time layout view (resulting in overlapping classes/camps/parties and allowing little information to show), this view simply “stacks” events based on their start time.  This enables iClassPro to display more details and also allows you to carry out more tasks directly from the Calendar page.
    • Staggered - The “Staggered” view is available in either daily, weekly or staff layout and shows class, camp and party events as they are scheduled during your chosen time frame. The details available from this view are not as robust as those from the “Stacked” view.
  • Minimum Vacancy - defines the minimum number of openings that must be available for a Class/Camp to be displayed in the Calendar results.
  • Openings Filters - defines the specific type of openings that must be available for a Class/Camp to be displayed in the Calendar results.
    • All Openings - will display any Class/Camp meeting the “Minimum Vacancy”, regardless of which type of opening is available.
    • Regular Openings - will display only Classes/Camps meeting the “Minimum Vacancy” with a perpetual opening for a new ongoing enrollment (ACTIVE type).
    • Temporary Openings - will display only Classes/Camps meeting the “Minimum Vacancy” with a temporary opening for a new one-day enrollment (MAKEUP/TRIAL/SINGLE DAY type).
  • Details Filter - defines which details will be included in the calendar view (Stacked view only)
    • Level - displays the Class Level.
    • Area - displays the Zone/Area assigned to the Class/Camp.
    • Instructors - displays the names of the Instructor(s) assigned to the Class/Camp/Party.
    • Students - Displays the name(s) of the students who will be enrolled in the Class/Camp on the specified date, with visual  indicators to determine if they are expected to be present or absent.
    • Waitlisted Students - Displays the name(s) of the students who have a WAIT type enrollment for the Class/Camp.
