Overview
The Mobile/Branded App allows guardians to enroll students in available classes from their mobile device. When a guardian selects Find a Class, the System automatically filters the class list based on the selected student’s:
- Age
- Gender
- Prerequisites
- Other criteria defined under SETTINGS > CUSTOMER PORTAL > CLASS REGISTRATION
Only classes that meet these criteria are displayed to the family.
Accessing the Feature
Guardians can access class enrollment in one of the following ways:
- From the Dashboard, select Find a Class.
- If Dashboard buttons are hidden, select BOOKING>Find a Class from the bottom navigation.

-
Contact Us – appears when the class is full, but the system is not configured to allow Waitlist requests. (Note: clicking the "Contact Us" button prompts the user to send an email; therefore, it requires that the mail client on the user's device is properly configured to send/receive emails.)
- Confirm the Student(s) and add optional Enrollment Notes.
- If shown, confirm the Start Date or adjust it.
- The date field appears only for non‑session classes, and only within the limits set under SETTINGS>CUSTOMER PORTAL>OTHER SETTINGS>CLASS REGISTRATION.

Classes with Future Openings
- If "Allow Visitors To Choose A Start Date For Non-Session Classes (Only Affects New Enrollments)" is enabled under SETTINGS>CUSTOMER PORTAL>OTHER SETTINGS>CLASS REGISTRATION, any classes with an opening within the window established by the "Limit start date to at most X days from today" value will always display text for the next opening date.
- When the class is selected, this date is also displayed on the new enrollment view informing the user of the next opening date.
- If the user selects the next opening date (or greater), the enrollment is converted to ACTIVE and the alert disappears.

NOTE: Enrollments are only created if the payment is successful.
Enrollment Order & Discounts
Whenever possible, it is recommended to add all student enrollments to the shopping cart prior to checkout. This is so the system can properly order the students and apply an eligible discounts.
When students are enrolled in the same class in two separate Customer Portal transactions:
- The first student to enroll will be charged according to any existing discount criteria (e.g., additional class enrollments linked to the same discount table, additional siblings). If there are no additional discounts for which the student is eligible, they will be charged the Student 1 price as there are no additional enrollments to consider.
-
The second student to enroll will also be charged according to any existing discount criteria (e.g., additional class enrollments linked to the same discount table, additional siblings). This would include the first student's enrollment. Based on these criteria, the second student could also be ranked as Student 1 after the fact (e.g., they pay the highest tuition or have the most expensive class), and therefore would be charged the Student 1 price.
- This is intended behavior, as the second student's enrollment did not exist when the first student was charged.
For more information about how the system orders students for discounts, see the "Ordering Students/Enrollments" section of How Do I Set Up a Discount Schedule?
Troubleshooting & FAQ
-
Why does the class button show “Contact Us” instead of “Enroll Now”?
- The class is full, and your Customer Portal setting to Allow Visitors to Request a Class That is Full is disabled. Therefore, Families cannot request placement on the WAIT list.
-
Why doesn't the Start Date field appear?
- The field is only available for non‑session classes and only when Allow Visitors to Choose A Start Date For Non‑Session Classes is active.
-
Why would families receive an error about a conflicting enrollment?
- The selected student already has an ACTIVE, TRIAL, or MAKEUP enrollment occurring on the same day/time.
