What is the PAYMENTS>“Transactions” View?

Learn how to access the PAYMENTS>“Transactions” view and the information it provides.

The PAYMENTS view is only available for customers who have been migrated to iClassPro's new payments platform.

Overview

The “Transactions” view allows you to view information about individual payment transactions that were processed via the payment gateway within a defined date range, along with any fees charged and the payout status. 

By clicking on the “magnifying glass” icon next to a specific entry, you can view information about the specific transaction from the family's ledger.

Main “Transactions” view

The main “Transactions” view displays information about transactions that were processed within a defined date range, along with any fees charged and the payout status.

Filters

Filter options include:

  • Date - allows you to filter results to transactions that were processed during a specified date range.
    • Defaults to the current month.
  • Type - allows you to filter results based on the type of transaction that was processed.
    • ACH Return
    • Capture
    • Chargeback
    • Failed
    • Notification of Chargeback
    • Refund
    • Settled
  • Payment Method - allows you to filter results based on the original payment method used for the transaction.
    • Card issuer - each card issuer is listed separately.
    • eCheck
  • Source - allows you to filter results based on the source of the transaction.
    • eCommerce - Card Not Present/eCheck
    • POS - Card Present
  • Payout ID - allows you to filter results to transactions associated with specific payout IDs.

An Export option in the top right-hand corner (beside the filter reset button) allows you to export the filtered results in CSV format.

Totals

At the top of the screen, totals will be displayed for the filtered results:

  • Total Chargebacks
  • Total Chargebacks Amount
  • Total Captured Transactions
  • Total Amount
  • Total Fees
  • Total Net Amount

Transactions Entries

A table below this will list each transaction within the defined date range (taking into account any status filters). For each transaction entry, the following information will be displayed:

  • Ref ID
  • Transaction ID
  • Transaction Date
  • Payout Date (or status, if the transaction has not yet completed)
  • Type (i.e., transaction type)
  • Payment Type (card issuer)
  • Last Four
  • Customer Name
    • NOTE: For Swipe/Insert/Tap payments where the customer name is not available, the name may display as N/A.
  • Amount
  • Processing Fees
  • Net Sale

The Pagination view (in the upper right-hand corner, above the transaction entries table) can be adjusted to display more results if desired.

View Transaction on Family Ledger

Clicking on the “Currency” icon to the left of a transaction entry will display the entry for that specific payment from the family ledger.

Transaction Details

Clicking on the “Magnifying glass” icon to the left of a transaction entry will bring up detailed information about the transaction, including a timeline of events for the transaction.

  • Customer Details
    • Name and Email Address
      • NOTE: For Swipe/Insert/Tap payments where the customer name is not available, the name may display as N/A.
  • Date/Time
    • Date/time of the transaction
  • Card/eCheck Details
    • Last 4 digits of card or account number
  • Gateway
    • Gateway name
  • Batch ID
  • Capture Amount
  • Processing Fee
  • Timeline
    • Timeline of events with date/time the transaction status we updated
