This document explains how to submit a Makeup enrollment request via the Customer Portal/Mobile App if Makeup Tokens are not enabled on the account. Click here for details about how to redeem a Makeup Token for an enrollment via the Customer Portal/Mobile App.
What is a Makeup enrollment?
The "Makeup" enrollment status is used to signal students who are making up for missed enrollment dates. Makeup enrollments are also considered free within the system and will count toward the maximum enrollment capacity on classes.
When a Makeup request is submitted via the Customer Portal/Mobile App, a request is generated in the Online Activity that must be approved by a staff member.
How do I submit a Makeup request?
After logging in to the Customer Portal/Mobile App, there are two ways to launch the "Request a Makeup" process:
- Click "Book Now!", then choose "Request a Makeup" from the list of enrollment options.
- After clicking "Request a Makeup", select the student(s) for whom you wish to create a Makeup request, then click "See Classes."
- From the "My Account" screen, click the "Makeup" option under the student for whom you wish to create a Makeup request, then click "Request a Makeup."
The class list should automatically be filtered to classes that meet the age/gender requirements for the selected student(s). To adjust the results, you can choose to apply additional filters or remove filters as needed.
All filters are multi-select. When using filters, the “Apply Filters” button must be clicked to save the filters and proceed to reload the classes. If editing existing filters, you will also be able to click “Remove Filters” to clear all previously selected filters.
Selecting only "Male" or "Female" from the Gender filters will limit classes to those specifically limited to male or female students (respectively). Customers will also need to select "Co-Ed" if they wish to see all classes for which a student may be eligible.
Click on a class that shows openings to begin the Makeup request process. After reviewing the class details, click "Request Makeup" button.
Enter any additional enrollment notes/details in the "Anything else we need to know?" field, then click "Add to Cart."
The system will attempt to submit an enrollment for all eligible students. A message will be displayed if there are any problems (such as no available openings, or if there is a conflicting enrollment for any of the selected students).
Once the enrollment is in the shopping cart, you can either:
-
- Click "Add Enrollments or Bookings" to create another enrollment.
- Click "Visit [Point of Sale/ProShop]" to add a product purchase (if available).
- Click PAY NOW to check out and complete the enrollment process.
- NOTE: If the total cost of enrollments is $0.00, this button will display "Complete Transaction" instead.
The system will display a success message and an email will be sent to the customer letting them know that their Makeup request was received. Once the enrollment is approved or denied by a staff member, they will receive a follow-up email letting them know that it was either approved or denied.
If a Makeup enrollment is requested for a class that meets several times throughout a given day (such as Monday from 7pm-8pm and 8pm-9pm), the enrollment will actually be created for ALL of the timeslots attached to the class (due to how iClassPro handles class enrollments).
If the class has multiple meeting times on several different days (such as Monday from 7pm-8pm and Wednesday from 8pm-9pm), the student will only be enrolled for the date selected for the makeup.
Makeup enrollment availability may be affected by the setting to "Restrict enrollment start date based on class start time" under SETTINGS>CUSTOMER PORTAL>OTHER SETTINGS>CLASS REGISTRATION. [/CLASS NOTE]
