More details on account history

I have many families with multiple children, and when viewing the full ledger it only shows "September payment" and the amount, but not the name of the child that it is for.  When someone has paid for 3 children and has 4 enrolled there is no way to see who was paid for and who still owes without going in to each charge to find the name.  It would be wonderful if we could see "September 2013 - Sydney - $xxx" and "September 2013 - Taylor - $xxx" and "September 2013 - Avery - $xxx" or something like that.

Also - I would really like to be able to print a statement that shows the history of charges and payments that is detailed the way an invoice is if you are printing something showing charges that are still due.

Hi! It sounds like you have a charge with multiple line items meaning that you would have to click the down arrow to see the student names. I would recommend always saving charges using the "Split Save" button which always creates the charge as a separate entry on the ledger. That makes the ledger so much easier to read.

Also, we have an update coming out very soon to the Family Full Ledger report which gives you a list of any charges/payments on that account which I believe is more what you are looking for. The statement is designed to only show charges with a balance. Be sure to look out for our announcement email with that update! I think that will help with your second request.

Please let me know if you have any questions about the split save or feel free to give me a call at 877-554-6776. I would be happy to explain in more detail. Thanks for posting in our forums!

Hi Janet!

Since you submitted this request, we have pushed updates so that every charge from the family ledger split saves, which should list the charges the way you described above unless a staff member re-titles each line item. This should resolve your issue with statements as well.

Also, we have released the Family Full Ledger report as Donnie described.

Please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns!
