Google Analytics is a very helpful and informative tool many business owners use to track information about click rates and page views on their website, ads, social media, etc. This impressive tool offered by Google has a free version for you to try. How do I set it up?
If you already have a Google Analytics account, you can integrate it with iClassPro's Parent Portal page for tracking information through an API located in your iClassPro settings. To set up this integration, follow the instructions below.
- First, you will need to find your Google Analytics Key. To access that, check out this Google article on how to find it: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/1032385?hl=en
- After locating your Google Analytics Key, log in to iClassPro. Go to Settings > Parent Portal > Marketing and Branding.
- At the bottom, there will be a box that says "Google Analytics". Enter your key here and then Save at the bottom of the screen.
Note: A Google Analytics Key for this integration should begin with either "GA-" or "UA-" (Universal Analytics is the newer of the two).
