Terminal Help / Assigning a Password to Refunds

A password can be added to transaction types, such as refunds, for added security to your terminal. Please be sure to keep records of these passwords as iClassPro support will not have them on file and will not be able to retrieve them for you. 

First, you'll need to create a "Supervisor" password. Then, you can assign that password to the refund transaction type. 

Setting the Supervisor Password

  1. Press [#] to open the admin menu.
  2. Press [6] for Security Options.
  3. Enter the admin password V123456. (Press the [F] key to change 7 into a "V".)
  4. Press [2] for the PW Params menu.
  5. Press [2] to choose PWSup.
  6. Enter the password you would like to use using the number pad. To create a letter, press the corresponding number key and press [F] to cycle through letters.
  7. Press the green [O] key. 
  8. Press red [X] 3 times to go back to the main welcome screen.

Assigning a Password to Refund Transaction Types

  1. Press [#] to open the admin menu.
  2. Press [6] for Security Options.
  3. Enter the admin password V123456. (Press the [F] key to change 7 into a "V".)
  4. Press [3] for Main Menu Passwords.
  5. Press [1] to choose PWReturn.  
  6. Press [2] to choose Supervisor.
  7. Press red [X] to go back to the welcome screen.
