A tuition price is the un-discounted price for a particular class. For example, you can create a tuition price called "1 hour" where you charge $50 per hour. Or, you could have a tuition price called "Allstars Monthly" for $200. You can create that as a tuition price in iClassPro. That price is then available to be attached to the appropriate classes.
When billing is run, a student is always charged the tuition price minus discounts and proration (if you are using discounts and proration.) A student is charged this if the billing is run for their billing schedule. A tuition price can be overridden on a per enrollment basis in special situations. If the price is overridden, that is the price that will always be charged for a class or enrollment and discounts WILL NOT take effect.
Tuition prices can also be a hourly rate. If you enable the bill hourly setting for a class, the tuition price that you attach to that class then becomes an hourly rate. In that case, the amount charged becomes the tuition price * the number of hours the class meets over the billing cycle.
Each student will be charged the tuition price (or the overridden or calculated tuition price) of the class they are enrolled when the billing process is ran.
