The billing schedule is the frequency at which you charge tuition for a particular class (Monthly, Session, Weekly, etc.) The billing schedule determines which students get charged. For instance, if you attach the session billing schedule to all your classes, when you run global tuition charges, all students who are enrolled in a class with that billing schedule will be charged. Each student will be charged the tuition price of the class they are enrolled.
Each class is assigned a default billing schedule. You can also attach secondary billing schedules to a class. For example, you might offer your customers the choice of paying monthly or by session. If most customers prefer monthly, you can set that to the default which is what a student will automatically be set to when enrolling. In the case that the customer wants pay by session, you can select session as the billing schedule when enrolling in that class and the student will be billed the session price every time you bill for the billing schedule 'session' instead of monthly with the rest of the class.
To create/edit your billing schedules, go to Settings, and then click on the setup section on the left-side of the page. Billing schedules are under the Class Settings section.
