How do I use passwords for employees

I am trying to set up passwords for desk employees so I can set limits on their control of the system, but every time I set up an employee and give them a user name and password then try to log in as that employee, i get an "incorrect password" message. I am positive I am entering the information in exactly like I entered it in the staff section. What am I doing incorrectly?

Hi Robin,
It sounds like the staff members do not have any permissions configured. Try making sure that you have given permission for the staff member to login. This is done by going to the staff page, editing the staff member, and then going to the permissions tab at the top of the window. Then, you can select a user group from the drop down menu or click the advanced user permissions to assign permission. The first permission in the list "Application Access" must be marked to full for user to be able to login at all.
