Preview The New Parent Portal
The new parent portal you have all been waiting for is here!
The new parent portal will feature:
- Improved user interface
- Improved user friendliness
- Color themes
- Auto-charging
- Many more features!
Also, it will resolve compatibility issues we have been experiencing with older versions of Internet Explorer. No changes on your side will be required to get the new parent portal. We plan on automatically switching everyone to the new parent portal in the coming week.

Hi there -- love the new look of the parent portal -- visually so much better and it seems super user friendly. I was wondering if it would be possible on the ledger section to still see the account summary WITH payments/deposits listed together as it is now (in addition to having the ability to view payments/charges individually). That would be very helpful to us! Thank you!

Thanks for your feedback. I've made the suggestion about the account summary to the developers. You can still view the full ledger by clicking the link on the left side of the page (see screenshot). We are considering adding an additional button to make it more noticeable. We will be making changes there so please check it again later, and let us know what you think!
Thanks Donnie! I really do love that you can see payments and charges separately in that section and wouldn't want that to change, but there isn't anywhere (that i can see) where you see everything together (by date) where charges/payments are intermingled as it is on the current version on the summary. am i missing it? and the only other suggestion i can think of is giving us control of what page opens when a parent logs in (which maybe it will :).
And as a new user of this software, i cannot TELL you how wonderful we think it is!!! Thank you!
Lara, I'm happy to hear that you like it! There is not a summary where it shows both charges and payments at this time. I have recommended that it be added. Please keep a look out for the changes. Also, I'll make the suggestion about customizing what page it goes to after you log in, but currently that is not an option.

I was wondering if there was a way to use the "Multiple" function again when selecting the settings for auto-charge. Right now, it will only let me select to have one program for the anniversary fee program or to select multiple auto-charge categories.

I have a few questions:
1. Can I change the theme color and or add the logo before you guys make it live?
2. It looks like I have the ability to point directly to the new registration page (i.e. https://www.iclassprov2.com/icpv2/parentportal/nebraskacheercenter/...). Will that remain the same when you turn it on live?
3. Are there new Parent Portal Settings? You say to review them, but were there new ones added?
Oh yeah, very nice being able to customize the portal!

Thanks Dusty and Lbarfield! Yes, you can easily change the logo and theme color before you announce the link and/or make it live to your clients.
Quick Tip #1: You can upload a custom parent portal header for each location by going to >> Settings >> Locations
The graphic will look great if you make the image size 920px wide by 140px tall. - You can also assign a web page link.
Quick Tip #2: You can make the class openings display real number openings rather than "open" or "full" by going to >> Settings >> Parent Portal.

I love the new look! Just had a look around and the ledger pages are not displaying correctly. I believe this is due to the £ rather than a $.
The new look will be alot easier for our parents to follow. Couple items...
1. Is there anyway that on the Full Ledger page that it could show the amount of the charge or payment on the screen to the left of the balance. It would be nice if they didn't have to go into the charge/payment to see the detail and only go there if they needed more info.
2. Are the "partial payments" going to be incorporated into this release? We have been waiting for a long time for that ability..

Renne, a fix for the ledger currency symbol issue has been fixed, and will working in our next update. As far as the amount of the charge showing, that's definitely possible. You'll see that field in the full ledger after our next update.
Partial payments are also included in this update. You'll need to turn on "Allow Partial Payments" in your parent portal settings in order for this to work. After this is turned on, you can visit the "Pay Charges" screen and you will see that you're allowed to edit the amounts to pay on the charges.

Paul, I did see that I had to turn on in the settings and I turned on and then went and tried it and it is still marking the entire invoice as REQUIRED. Am I missing something?
@Kingston: I wanted to let you know we've released an update that should have corrected the ledger problem you were having due to the currency symbols. Please try again, and let us know if you have any more issues.
@Renee: I'm happy to let you know that this new parent portal will allow for parents to make partial payments! In the attached screenshot, I've marked where the parent portal user can change the amount of the charge that is being paid. If you had trouble testing this, please check your parent portal settings.
Under Parent Portal Settings>Financial there are two check boxes that could effect the parent portal settings. One is the "Allow Partial Payments." You will want to be sure to check that in order for the parent to be able to make a partial payment. The other is "require past due and priority charges must be paid in in full first." If that setting is checked, a parent portal user will not be able to change the payment amount if the charge is past due or has a charge category that is a "priority charge category."
And Dusty, to answer your question about the parent portal settings, we have added many new settings that apply only to the new settings and they are grouped together with the old parent portal settings. Some of the new ones, for example, are the color themes and the settings pertaining to auto charging.

Thanks for the info. I do have one more question.
In the current version you have the ability to see the skills tree on the student page. This is something that we were planning on implementing for this next season for our tumbling classes. Would it be possible to add skills tree?

Thanks for pointing that out. There currently is not a skill tree in the new parent portal. However, I'll be sure to put this down and see about getting this added in. Any changes will definitely be announced.
Is it possible to have a phone number in the location information where the gym/school address is displayed? When a class says 'call' it would be easier for the customer to locate a phone number.
I just tried to enrol a student to see what occurs and I got the message 'unable to determine pricing information for requested enrolments'. Is this currently the normal response while the site is waiting to go live or have I got an error my end?
I like the improvements. I am anxious to start changing up the graphics and further integrate it within our new website. So far so good.
@Kingston: We have figured out the problem with the message you received saying "unable to determine pricing information for requested enrollments", and that issue is now fixed. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Also, we plan on rolling out with this new parent portal for everyone tomorrow. The new parent portal will resolve any browser compatibility issues that you may have been experiencing with the current parent portal. Stay tuned to our latest announcements for more information.
@Donnie Thanks! The verifying price feature now works, however the prices is being shown in US $ not UK £. Is there any chance this can be fixed?
Is there anyway to change the size of the more details box/class description so it is wider like in the EXAMPLE #2 Gym University?
@Kingston: The currency symbol should have been fixed. Let me know if you continue to have a problem with that. Also, there is not a way to change the default size of the more details box.
